My beauty obsession began somewhere back around 2015 when I created my previous blog DIYmakeup.com (no longer owned by me). After starting the business when the makeup expo industry was booming pre pandemic, I eventually wound up selling it to a Canadian beauty company.
Fast forward to now, after battling dry, sensitive skin all of my life (now in my early 30’s), my skin can tell the difference between greenwashed “clean” beauty brands and genuinely enriching products. Below are some of my go-to favorites that I stand by for the true clean beauty girlies.

This sugaring kit by Sugardoh is amazing for touchups in between appointments or if you want to save money by doing your own hair removal treatment. The sugaring wax can be used at different temperatures with different techniques depending on the area. I love to use this on my legs and am skilled enough to have mastered under arm hair removal as well (I still go to a professional for bikini). Proceed with caution and make sure to follow instructions to avoid any burn accidents or incorrect application. Remember to always remove the hair against the grain.

The Luna night oil is infused with chamomile and rosemary which naturally is very calming and soothing. The perfect night cap so you can wake up feeling refreshed and your skin feeling beautifully plump. Highly recommend.
Sunday Riley CEO Glow Face Oil
The title says it all. Glow like the boss you are. Follow up your cleanser and moisturizer with this oil to lock in hydration all day long. The turmeric calms inflammation and redness. The vitamin C stimulates collagen and promotes even skin tone. Must try Vitamin C oil to add to your daily routine.
Phillip B Peppermint Avocado Shampoo
Yes, you read that correctly. Peppermint Avocado Shampoo that has the most invigorating, cooling sensation when cleansing your scalp. This is no ordinary shampoo. It leaves your hair feeling incredibly clean, refreshed and healthy. Really worked wonders on my dry scalp, leaving no residue behind after a thorough wash. Love it!
I have been using this for nearly 10 years and will never use another deodorant as long as this is around. It is very gentle, smells amazing and keeps you fresh throughout the day (the vanilla lavender and sport luxe are my absolute favorite scents). It has no aluminum and is packed with natural ingredients. I got my mother hooked on it years ago and we always keep a stash of multiple flavors at a time. You will not be disappointed with this product!

A good dry shampoo is essential in my routine to absorb oil in between wash days and keep hair voluminous. This option from Klorane cleanses while keeping your locks polished.

Supergoop! SPF 40 Mini Defense Refresh (Re)setting Mist
Supergoop! has a lot of great products but this mini is perfect to keep in my purse anytime I need a quick refresh while protecting my skin from the sun. The hint of peppermint and rosemary reminds me of crisp summer days. This has been a staple for me for several years now.
Evian Mini Mineral Water Facial Spray
Another classic that remains on deck. I can’t go without this Evian Mineral Spray especially on a summer day or even just for some hydration during the day or while prepping skin for makeup this serves as a gentle toner. The ultra fine mist consists of only mineral water with beneficial minerals that cleanses the skin.
Always keep one by the bed for some ambiance and when I want bae to give me a sexy massage at home. The small option is great for travel as well. Key ingredients include beeswax, jojoba and castor oil.
Alpyn Beauty Wild Huckleberry 8-Acid Polishing Peel
Alpyn Beauty crafts premiere quality skincare products with sustainably harvested wildcrafted ingredients and this gentle exfoliating mask is such a treat. Caudalie Premier Cru Anti-Aging Serum
For radiant skin, add this to your regimen. Caudalie is one of my go-to’s for serums (the vinoperfect radiance serum is another fave) but the one that that I have been using almost daily is this Anti-Aging Premier Cru magic. It improves collagen production, firmness, and gives you a glow while ridding of signs of aging. It’s a splurge but totally worth it and a little goes a long way.
